We meet at 8.45 a.m. in the parking lot in front of the campus swimming pool.

The bus will leave at 9 a.m. sharp.

It is a 12.5 kilometer walk with 400 meters of elevation gain around the Monteynard lake (description, gpx file, destination) through two Himalayen bridges (220 m and 180 m long, between 145 and 80 meters above the waters of the lake).

It takes on average 4.5 hours (about 1 from the departure to the first himalayen bridge named Passerelle Ebron, 2 between the two footbridges, and 1.5 from the second footbridge called Passerelle Drac to the arrival Parking de la base nautique de Mayres-Savel).

There are some sections on narrow and steep trails, which will likely be muddy and slippery due to recent heavy rains. Please be careful.

Do not forget to take food and water.

It may be possible to get water in the toilet near a parking lotnear the middle of the hike, or in the small neighboring village nearby, called Villarnet. But this is not guaranteed.

The route is probably not covered by 3G or 4G.

The forecast from the day before at 1 p.m. does not predict rain, but it is prudent to bring waterproof clothing. Do not forget that you should be equipped with good shoes, sunscreen, sunhats, and rain clothes.
